  Elmwood hasn't been respected for decades. 3 decades ago, I bid to mow the place but the endowment account wasn't keeping up with the times, so I pulled my bid. It's sad, because some of Kansas City's most noteworthy people have been buried there.

  Me and 6 other try are best to keep elm wood mowed and clean it takes 2 days to mow and 3 to weed eat

  Absolutely beautiful and the grand monuments are amazing. Kudos to those who are working to maintain the property - it is a huge task. Miss the solitary, gentle deer that used to freely roam the grounds.

  I have an aunt buried in that cemetery and a grandfather and grandmother buried there

  This is the cemetery where Ella the deer was murdered.. Guess its not a great place for a deer to live after all..
