  Hi, I am Panda. A lot of years ago my Mom, Patricia (Pat) Smith & a lot of hard working people cleared the land to help move Wornall Rd Church of the Nazarene to become Summit View!
  The seeds planted in my life continue to grow & bring glory God! I hope each of you know that a hand given in God's name is the greatest gift we can give & it makes a difference in lives for generations to come. I have thought of you often as I sit in Hood River Church of the Nazarene Oregon with my 4 grandsons.

  Summit View is a small congregation with deep roots that is treasured for its warm, welcoming atmosphere. As a smaller group of believers (typically under fifty any given Sunday), Summit View is a place to be discipled and to serve, based on Christ's example of servant love. All are welcome.
  
  Servant opportunities include prayer, worship team participation, hospitality baking, visitation, food pantry, grounds upkeep or building maintenance, per your gifting.
  The feel of the Sunday morning worship service is casual yet worshipful. The message is Biblically-based and preached by ministers who know the congregants. The music selection is a mix of timeless hymns and contemporary worship songs, interspersed with a meet and greet time and intercessory and family prayer. Testimonies and requests for prayer are always welcome. The worship service starts at 10:50 A.M.
  
  There are weekly Sunday School classes for children and adults. Sunday School classes are before the service at 9:40 A.M.
  
  There are informal small groups for men and women on Sunday evenings. Highs and lows and prayer requests are shared. It is a time to get to know one another intimately in order to genuinely support each other.
  
  The young adults host a variety of Wednesday evening activities which start around 7 P.M. There is also a Tuesday night Bible study held at a member's home. Times and dates are flexible so it's wise to check the website calendar or the contact page.
  
  Summit View Church of the Nazarene is an intimate church with a lot going on. It is a community of people who strive to love like Christ, in which you can be known well, ministered to personally and participate.
